Another fall Atlanta weekend chock full of events!

The temperatures are dropping right to the point where it feels great to be outside.  Good thing, too, as there is a ton to do this weekend!

Candler Park Fall FestCandler Park Fall Fest – Saturday and Sunday, October 13 and 14.  The weather looks to be just perfect for one of Atlanta’s best festivals.  Come out to Candler Park for two days of music, art, food and fall fun.

 

 

Atlanta Pride FestivalAtlanta Pride Festival – Saturday and Sunday, October 13 and 14.  Celebrate the LGBTQ community at Atlanta’s beautiful Piedmont Park!  Weekend events include entertainment, activism and community building.  Check out the complete list of Pride Festival events here.

 

 

Oakhurst Arts & Music FestivalOakhurst Arts and Music Festival Saturday, October 13, 10am-7pm in Oakhurst’s Harmony Park.  Artists, musical performances, a kids’ activity area and plenty of festival food make this a great way to spend your Saturday.  Get all the info here.

 

 

Party Atlanta Bar CrawlBuckhead Bar Crawl to benefit Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta – Saturday night, October 13, 8:00pm-12:30am.   Enjoy complimentary drinks and live music as you visit three of Buckhead’s best bars and raise money for the young patients at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at the same time.   Get all the details and purchase your ticket here.

 

 

 

And here are two great events happening next week – mark your calendars!

BeltLine Eastside Trail dedication and official opening –  The BeltLine Eastside trail, connecting some of Atlanta’s most popular destinations including Piedmont Park, Virginia Highland, Inman Park and the Old Fourth Ward will officially open Monday, Oct. 15, at 10:00am at the Historic Fourth Ward Skatepark.  In the spirit of the BeltLine, attendees are encouraged to walk or bike to the ceremony, though parking is available.

Taste of Perennial – Atlanta Contemporary Art Center, October 18, 5:00pm-8:00pm.  Sample food from some of Perennial Properties’ favorites, explore the Atlanta Contemporary Art Center and mosey through a silent auction – all to benefit the Atlanta Community Food Bank and all for just $15 per ticket!  The first annual event will feature bites from P’cheen International Bistro, Zuma Sushi, The Drafting Table and Bone Lick BBQ.  Get your ticket now!
