West Midtown Corner Tavern becomes The French Quarter Tavern! - The party begins Saturday, February 9 at 9:00pm with Mardi Gras Karaoke and a gumbo dinner special. Come by Sunday, Feb. 10 for the Jazz Brunch from 11:00am-3:00pm and enjoy Cajun bloody Marys and bottomless mimosas with your shrimp and grits. Celebrate Fat Tuesday on Tuesday, Feb. 12 with trivia at 8:30pm and Cajun pasta for dinner. Drink specials at all three nights. Parish Foods & Goods 5th Annual Mardi Gras Celebration – Saturday, February 9, 11:00am-4:00pm. Nobody does New Orleans in Atlanta like Parish. Your $40 ticket includes New Orleans delicacies like all-you-can-eat crawfish, red beans & rice, oysters, house made king cake and all-you-can-drink Sweetwater beer. Guests will enjoy music from the Mar-tans. Parish is located at 240 N. Highland Ave. at N. Highland Steel.
Beads & Booze Bar Crawl – Wear your beads for this pub crawl through Virginia Highlands. The fun will begin Friday, February 8 at 6:00pm at Hand in Hand. Crawlers will then travel Mardi Gras parade-style to Neighbor’s Pub, Dark Horse Tavern, Limerick Junction, Diesel & Atkins Park. Tickets are $20 in advance and include a drink at each bar.
