Come to Bone Lick BBQ’s 1 Year Anniversary Party!

Bone Lick BBQIt’s hard to believe it’s been a whole year since we were first introduced to West Midtown’s Bone Lick BBQ , but it’s true!    Since then, their pulled pork sammies, smoked chicken, Texas-style sliced brisket, and bacon-wrapped sausage links have kept us coming back for more.

To celebrate this very special meat-tastic occasion, you are invited to Bone Lick’s 1 Year Anniversary Party on Saturday, August 24, starting at 12:00pm.  The event will include live music, DJs, a dunk tank, classic arcade games, drinking and eating competitions, and so much more.   And of course, Bone Lick’s full menu, created by award-winning pit master Mike LaSage, will be available throughout the day and night — so come hungry!

Here’s a breakdown of the celebration details so you know what to expect:

12:00pm – DJ and Dunk Tank.  The DJ will get the party started promptly at 12:00pm and guests will be greeted by a dunk tank in front of the restaurant.  Throughout the day, you’ll be able to try your hand at dunking your favorite Bone Lick BBQ staffers and local personalities to help raise funds for Staplehouse, a purpose-driven restaurant serving the people of Atlanta and the mission of The Giving Kitchen Initiative, helping members of the local restaurant industry experiencing an unanticipated hardship.

2:00pm – Beer lovers can show off their “skills” during the Red Hare Brewing Company Chugging Competition while the big eaters in attendance can participate in the Fat Ass Muff Challenge and attempt to eat the ultimate 5-pound sandwich filled with pulled pork, house smoked sausage, smoked brisket, collard greens, crispy onions, jalapeno infused bacon, and homemade coleslaw.   Yowza.

6:00pm-7:00pm – Enjoy an hour of complimentary Red Hare brews while you listen to Bone Lick’s own Mike LaSage and his band, The Stumbling Troubadours.   You’ll of course be able to watch the Braves game starting at 7:00pm.

8:00pm – The party jumps to the next level with a new DJ, giveaways, a few surprises, and the opportunity to be among the first to try the new late night cheap eats menu – all items are $10 or less!

Throughout the party, guests can enjoy free skee ball and take advantage of the barb-b-cade’s classic arcade games.

It’s going to be a great time – plan to be there!
