I gotta tell ya, I am SHOCKED each time I meet an Atlantan who has not yet visited the BeltLine – SHOCKED!   What are you waiting for?  It’s only the coolest thing to happen to intown Atlanta in the past 3 years at least!

If you were waiting for the perfect opportunity, we’ve taken the liberty of compiling a list of events and ideas for you to make the most of your visit.  You now officially have no excuse!  And because we know you are going to love it, you’re welcome in advance.

Take a FREE fitness class – Yes, FREE!  And happening all this week!  Take a look at the list here and go!

Sign up for a FREE Arboretum Walking Tour with Trees Atlanta – Take a two-mile leisurely walk while you learn about the BeltLine’s horticulture.  The next two event is June 27.  The tour begins behind Parish Foods & Goods.

Go to the Old Fourth Ward Arts Festival June 28-29!  Historic Fourth Ward Park is located right off the Eastside Trail.  In fact, there is a path that directly connects the park to the BeltLine.  So enjoy the festival music and art, let the kids play at the park playground, then take the path to experience the BeltLine!

Ride a bike around the BeltLine – Experience the BeltLine on two wheels!  BeltLine Bike Tours provide an ideal way to see and learn about the BeltLine.  Eastside trail and Westside trail tours are available.  Sign up here.

Hop on the bus tour!  If walking and biking isn’t your thing, but you still want to see what everyone is talking about, sign up for the BeltLine Bus Tour!  Another free option, the tour begins and ends at the Inman Park Marta Station.  Space is limited, so make a reservation!

Go for a stroll and a froyo – It’s really that simple.  Throw on your sneakers, park anywhere along the Eastside trail, and start walking!  Veer off the trail when it crosses N. Highland Ave. and grab a refreshing, organic frozen yogurt at Fruttela.

Now go make it happen!  You’ll be glad you did.
