Monday, August 5, 8:00 pm – Single-player, double-bracket elimination Pool Tournament
On Monday, August 5th, Doc Waldrop, captain of one of West Midtown Corner Tavern’s 8-ball teams, will host a single-player, double-bracket elimination tournament at the restaurant/bar.
Interested contestants can sign up to participate in the tournament all day Monday, August 5, until 7:30 pm. The fee to participate is $10 per person. The event begins promptly at 8:00 pm. Continue reading

Third Annual Atlanta Ice Cream Festival – Saturday, July 27, 11:00am-6:00pm, Piedmont Park. Enjoy everybody’s favorite cool treat while learning about health and fitness. Atlantans just can’t get enough of the food cart craze. Combine that with the excitement surrounding the development of Ponce City Market and the BeltLine and you get Food Cart Sundays!
The recurring event, which began July 14, will happen again this Sunday, July 21 and run through the fall. From 2:30pm-6:00pm, head over to the BeltLine Shed (just south of the Ponce bridge) to chow down on food from your favorite carts including Doggy Dogg, Atomic Ice Cream Sandwiches, and Dancing Goats.
