It’s Mother’s Day, y’all!

heart-48963_150 (1)

This Sunday, May 11, is Mother’s Day.  It’s the one day out of the year we set aside to show Mom how much we appreciate everything she does for us.  But all moms are not the same!  Celebrate your mom in a way that lets her know you see the unique woman she is.

For the mom who likes to laugh

Sunday, May 11, at 5:00pm – It’s the Mother of all Mother’s Day Shows!  Bring mom to the Village Theatre downtown for a show that will confirm that your parent/child relationship is just as amazing and dysfunctional as everyone else’s.  For just $10 a ticket, you’ll see every single Village Theatre female performer honor mom.  To quote performer Emily Holden, “MOM upside down is WOW!”   You can’t really argue with that.  Get tickets online or call 404-688-8858.

PS – Walk to dinner after the show at Chow Bing..

For the mom who likes to wine and dine

Friday, May 9, at 7:30pm – Bring mom to the Mother’s Day edition of Uncorked at Parish.  Spend the night together indulging on fabulous wines, charcuterie, and cheeses in the Historic Fourth Ward.   You know all she really wants is time with you, so call to make your reservation.  Cost is $30 per person.  (404) 681-4434.

For the mom who loves to enjoy the morning

Come to Parish for Mother’s Day Brunch then go for a walk with mom on the BeltLine.  Parish will be serving their incredible Sunday brunch from 9:00am until 3:00pm.  Enjoy shrimp and grits or a more traditional American breakfast item accompanied by their famous Bloody Mary.  Then, step right outside and enjoy a post-brunch stroll on the Beltline, located directly behind the restaurant.  Mother’s Day is a busy one, so call to make your reservations – 404.681.4434.

For the mom who likes to play

There’s no better family activity than bowling!   Treat mom to some friendly family competition at Midtown Bowl .  But remember – it’s her special day, so take it easy with your triple windmill spin release, ok?
