The Atlanta Contemporary Art Center (ACAC) has been bringing Atlanta contemporary art created by emerging and established artists since 1973. Its 30,000 square foot campus of exhibition galleries, artist studios, a community resource room, gift shop, staff offices, and outdoor spaces was constructed in the 1920s and has served as ACAC’s operating space since 1989. Yep, you read that correctly. Thanks to the Atlanta Preservation Center, you can visit more than 170 Atlanta landmarks for FREE during the Phoenix Files, a City-Wide Celebration of Living Landmarks.
Beginning this Saturday, March 9, Atlantans can reserve a spot for events including:

What do all these things have in common? They are all two great things that go great together. Just like our beloved new Atlanta BeltLine and art! If you’ve explored the Eastside Trail since it opened officially a few months back, you’ve no doubt noticed the interesting and interactive artworks presented along the path. Did you know those pieces were likely submitted as concepts by artists just like you?
