Attention bacon lovers. The bacon mothership has landed and there are still tickets available for you to board. BaconFest, Atlanta’s outdoor festival to honor the 3 B’s, beer, bands and bacon, is this Saturday, March 30 at Dad’s Garage Theatre Company!
So what does one do at BaconFest you might ask. Well, according to the event’s webpage, starting at 1:00pm and continuing until 6:00pm, attendees will enjoy four local bands, hilarious carnival games and “troughs upon troughs of cold beer and sizzlin’ bacon.” The event is a fundraiser for Dad’s Garage Theatre Company, so even if bacon isn’t your cup of tea, you can still come and enjoy a great time. Specifically, the improv professionals from Dad’s Garage will be hosting several ridiculous events including a drunken spelling bee and the crowning of the Bacon King and Queen that are sure to entertain bacon lovers and veggie lovers alike.
